TRADITION_2

I was amazed by xcoffeaddict's - xcoffeeaddict.deviantart.com/ - image of an old Venetian lady painting a mask called 'Tradition', it's composition permits the spectator to become part of the scene. A mass of tools, materials and work in progress clutter her bench, but although just one lamp illuminates her work the focus is the mask, the shadows emphasise the solitary labours. A magnificent photograph. The more I viewed it the more I wished some mysterious element were in the picture and realised how I could inject some incongruity. This edited image is my interpretation.

A note to Tamara asking for permission to manip her image was granted and this is my result. I hope she approves...
